The REA LASER FL fiber laser is ideal for use in industry. Since it is very compact and equipped with a freely rotating writing head , it can be easily integrated into production systems. The very high efficiency and the very large fiber surface make fiber laser marking an extremely economical marking process with low energy consumption . In addition, fiber lasers are almost maintenance-free and have a very long service life.

With the intensive laser beam and an innovative, particularly compact focusing lens, the REA LASER FL fiber laser marks products with extremely small texts, codes and logos as well as with high-resolution markings. Fiber laser marking is durable and ideal for harder metals such as stainless steel and titanium as well as for plastics and thin foils. Marking is possible without any problems even on oily, corroded surfaces or surfaces that are over 1000°C hot .

The REA LASER FL fiber laser is one of the so-called solid-state lasers . Laser light from a diode laser is guided over a very long distance through an optical glass fiber and amplified. This creates a very intense laser beam with very high beam quality. A pulsed fiber laser with a pulse duration of 100 nanoseconds is generally used for fiber laser marking.”

Laser Unit

The REA LASER FL is a diode-pumped, air-cooled, pulsed fibre laser with a built-in pilot laser. Available in 20 W, 30 W, and 50 W versions, it delivers high pulse energy (up to 1 mJ) and supports adjustable pulse frequencies from 2–200 kHz, with optimised performance at 20, 30, or 50 kHz. Its 100 ns pulse length and 1064 nm wavelength make it ideal for a wide range of marking tasks. With excellent beam quality (M² < 2.0), it delivers crisp, high-precision results. Focusing lenses are available for different marking areas:

FL 100: 98 mm distance, 65 × 65 mm field

FL 160: 176 mm distance, 110 × 110 mm field

FL 255: 292 mm distance, 180 × 180 mm field

Operator Terminal

The REA LASER FL terminal features a 5.7-inch high-resolution display, six LED status indicators, and intuitive control via a rotary push-button and keypad. It supports Unicode text input and multiple languages. With compact dimensions (302 × 230 × 66 mm) and a lightweight design (2.7 kg), it’s easy to install and user-friendly.

Controller

The REA LASER FL controller provides precise, reliable control of laser marking systems. It features flexible connectivity via Ethernet and USB, digital I/Os, integrated safety functions, and supports accessories such as extraction units, shaft encoders, and product sensors. Designed for industrial environments, it operates in temperatures from 5–40°C and humidity levels between 5–85%.

Our REA JET DOD 2.0 printing system offers you the choice between two different controllers: the Universal Controller and the Universal Touch Controller. Both controllers enable intuitive operation of the printing system.

With the Universal Controller, you can operate the system using the rotary and push buttons on the control unit. This controller also has a number pad and a cursor block.

The Universal Touch Controller uses the latest technology. It is operated exclusively via the large 10.1" display. With no buttons or knobs, operation is even simpler and more intuitive. The tile-based user interface of the Universal Touch Controller even allows the coding and marking system to be precisely controlled with gloves.

The ability to connect print heads with up to 1024 nozzles to one controller gives you a high degree of flexibility and allows you to configure the printing system to suit your individual requirements.
