Its stainless steel print heads withstand vibration and temperatures from -5°C to 45°C, while the modular design integrates effortlessly into your existing setup. Heads

The REA JET DOD 2.0 print heads offer flexible, high-performance marking for a wide range of products and surfaces. With options from 7 to 32 nozzles — and up to 1024 in cascade mode — they support everything from small single-line prints to large-area markings up to 140 mm high. Built from durable materials for long-term use, they feature REA’s Purge & Clean system for quick maintenance, Micro-Slanting for sharper text, and Dot Size Control to reduce ink consumption and running costs.

Control Unit

The REA JET DOD 2.0 system offers two intuitive controller options: the Universal Controller, with tactile rotary and push buttons, a number pad, and a cursor block — and the Universal Touch Controller, featuring a modern 10.1″ touchscreen with a user-friendly, tile-based interface that even works with gloves. Both provide precise control, and with support for up to 1024 connected nozzles, they offer the flexibility to tailor the system to your exact printing needs.

Print head drivers

REA JET DOD 2.0 print heads are managed by dedicated print head drivers, available in two versions: one for 16 nozzles and one for 32 nozzles. This smart control system is based on the number of nozzles, not the print head type — giving you greater flexibility. For example, a 16-nozzle driver can run one 16-nozzle head or two 7-nozzle heads. The 32-nozzle driver allows for a variety of combinations, as long as the total nozzle count doesn’t exceed 32 — making it easy to customise your setup to suit your production needs.

Ink and Primer Supply

The REA JET DOD 2.0 ink supply units are built for reliability, even in tough industrial environments. With outstanding chemical resistance and innovative mixing technology, they deliver consistent ink and primer performance for high-quality, long-lasting prints on a wide variety of surfaces. Designed to prevent sediment build-up, they stay clean and efficient, reducing downtime and maintenance.

A higher fill capacity means longer run times, and an optional Automatic Flushing System makes cleaning simple. Whether in manual or automatic mode, the system adapts to your needs — supported by a wide range of accessories and over 500 ink and primer options, including both pigmented and non-pigmented varieties.

Our REA JET DOD 2.0 printing system offers you the choice between two different controllers: the Universal Controller and the Universal Touch Controller. Both controllers enable intuitive operation of the printing system.

With the Universal Controller, you can operate the system using the rotary and push buttons on the control unit. This controller also has a number pad and a cursor block.

The Universal Touch Controller uses the latest technology. It is operated exclusively via the large 10.1" display. With no buttons or knobs, operation is even simpler and more intuitive. The tile-based user interface of the Universal Touch Controller even allows the coding and marking system to be precisely controlled with gloves.

The ability to connect print heads with up to 1024 nozzles to one controller gives you a high degree of flexibility and allows you to configure the printing system to suit your individual requirements.
