The REA Check ER is a universal, battery-operated barcode checking device that is manufactured in Germany in compliance with international standards (ISO/IEC 15426-1). It is characterized by a very compact design and a handy construction, which make it an ideal companion for mobile barcode quality control.
The device offers numerous unique selling points: It is portable and wireless thanks to the built-in battery and has a large color display and storage space for up to 1000 measurements . It also enables reliable PC communication via network, including DHCP capability for the optionally available REA TransWin32 software.
The REA Check ER is designed without moving parts, making it long-lasting and robust. A key element of the test results are the final statements of “pass” or “fail” , which allow for a more precise analysis by providing detailed information.

- The flexible customization options make the system ideal for incoming goods inspections or printing process controls.
- Users can specify the minimum quality they want and save all settings as profiles .
- An outstanding feature is the possibility of multiple measurements with averaging , which consists of 2 to 10 individual measurements to ensure more precise results.
- The REA Check ER also checks the bright fields on both sides of the code and has a ratio check for two-bar width codes such as Code 39 or 2/5i.
- Colored LEDs are integrated for quick and clear display of results and operating status .
